Doug and Henrietta were privately renting in London which became an unaffordable option. With previously no thoughts on shared ownership, the pair stumbled across a resale shared ownership apartment for shared ownership, just while browsing. A resale property, is a home that has been previously lived in and the share is now up for sale. Doug and Henrietta found that purchasing a resale property was very useful, they viewing with the current owner and were able to ask questions about the local area and the home itself. They also benefited from previous improvements that the owner had already made. Owning their own property has opened many exciting opportunities for Doug and Henrietta – even if it just painting a wall!
