After privately renting a home that was bigger than Jazzie and her son needed, shared ownership ‘just made sense’. After feeling like she was paying somebody else’s mortgage and it becoming very expensive, Jazzie turned to shared ownership. Paying a combined mortgage and rent amount worked out cheaper than renting privately, with the added benefit of owning part of the property too. Staircasing is an exciting prospect for Jazzie to invest further into her home.
